WARNING SIGNS


Just as predicting the weather - there are warning signs for a storm in your health.

 

  • Warning #1 – Cholesterol –
    • Good cholesterol too low – bad cholesterol too high
      • Try some small nutrition changes like
        • Canned or dry beans
        • Vegetables and fruits
        • WHOLE GRAINS
        • Oatmeal
        • Spices instead of fatty additives like butter and creams

 

  • Warning #2 – High Blood Pressure -
    • Rising Blood Pressure - but it’s not too bad yet
      • Try deceasing your sodium intake – salt
      • Increase your exercise and if necessary try losing a few pounds

 

  • Warning #3 – Blood Sugar -
    • High Fasting Blood Sugar – maybe it is inching toward 100 mg/dl
      • Try some small nutrition changes again
        • Watch the sugar intake especially on processed foods
        • Increase the vegetables
        • Eat less processed foods
      • Add some exercise and if necessary try losing a few pounds
