FLU SEASON IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER

Flu season is right on top of us. Even if you received a flu shot, you can still be at risk for getting the flu, or at least the common cold. 

The following supplements have shown to help build your immune system. Stock up now.

 

Vitamin C

Vitamin A + zinc

Echinacea

Garlic

And taking a multi one a day style vitamin pill.

Eating apples and onions and good old chicken soup

 

This and washing your hands regularly, covering your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing and getting plenty of fluids and sleep, can not only help prevent catching a germ, but can help shorten it’s life.  Have some hand wipes and antibacterial lotion on hand.

 

This year experts are saying the young are at risk.  Be sure to schedule the flu shot for the family.  If possible and when available get both flu shots, the regular and the H1N1. (Experts suggest the flu shot first and about 3 weeks later the H1N1). 

 

There is no cure for the common cold, but there are things to help prevent spreading and catching one.
